HAd a 53 307 in about two months ago with exactly the same fault as yours i replaced the sensor and checked the wiring to the ecu all was good i even changed the hubs over in case the pick up was damaged but car was still the same i pulled my hair out with this car for a week trying everything i then thought about the air gap but it isnt adjustable on these i removed the sensor to check if the steel bracket was damaged but all looked ok in the end in desperation and the customer on my back i removed the rear right sensor and placed a small washer behind the bolt holding it in and tried it as a last resort and car was a ok and has been perfect ever since strange i now but it worked for me HTH alan
