Thanks for your replies Tony & John.
I fitted a second hand ABS unit today, got coms ok & testdrove with no problems, but the customer said that since i last looked at the fault he has been able to drive further before the light comes on.
The Abs live data didn't all seem correct, such as there being 0 - 1 rpm indicated as the engine speed, with the engine running, but hopefully that's just an Autodiagnos problem.
Hopefully the warning lights will stay off.
