..just a small update on this as Ive not had time to further it yet.. MOT regs...
I had a word with the guy that failed it and mentioned to him that I'd seen pictures here on the net of ones that had been totally pop riveted in. Asked him what he thought and he said a resounding NO becuase of the seatbelts mounts.
I didnt mention, simply because I did'nt think at the time but as I see it that shouldnt matter.. as the seat belt mounts are not secured to the floor pan/sheet , they are in fact secured to links below (as you will know) - I just wondered what you guys thought??
I dont have the link to the pop riveted floor pan pic but can find it if anyone wants to see it.
For what its worth I thought it loked quite smart - and I personally dont see that there's anything wrong with it (stretched neck!)
Perhaps other testers on here would ike to offer an opinion ..???
