This car has broken its clutch cable end for the second time in 6 months and the AA man has informed the owner that it's an indication that the clutch needs replacing.
Obviously, the lady needs some reassurance that this is the case since it's a much more expensive job than just renewing the cable/cable-end.
There is an earlier post of a similar problem with Xantia clutches but I would appreciate any additional comments please.
