Vauxhall Cavalier 2.0 X20XEV 94 - Immobiliser problems Archived Message

Hi folks. Still immobilisers for me!

Im on the aove car and from what Ive seen in the archives which Ive trawled inside out - it seems it may be the same unit as the probes/granadas/scorpios/mondeos...indeed theres a current post here on similar...

Ive found a wiring diag for the plug pins.. which I'll post below..

On looking at my car I appear to have isolated the f/pump and ecu circuits but I cannot get the starter circuit to operate.
ie, the id'd pins dont do it...... that said, Im not sure Im fully understanding the info on bypassing as I remember reading something about joining pins 10/13 and then earthing them... IS that right??? the earthing bit I mean??? ( Ive not earthed the pins )..?

Youlle notice its an auto..I have wondered if thats got anything to do with it.. ie the isolater on the gears...( just cant think of the name of it!!).. ( starter circuit I mean )

If any one can help Id really appreciate it... I dont want to go to mad on crossing pins for fear of blowing things!
It is taht Bosch unit by the way, single button single led fob... I beleive Vauxhall only used them for about a year - and are now NLA as a unit/system !!!

Just one other thing... The archs/diagram as below, say fuel pump on pins 9 and 11.... however mine is 10 and 11 . Worrying!

    Thanks fo rreading...
    Mike

    The diagram as mentioned.....

( This may help someone anyway sometime but credit goes to the archs! )
