It is getting difficult to obtain info as to which items have been subject to update by the manufacturer.We can end up running around trying to solve problems that are purely software related.I may be being paranoid,but without this basic information(which should be supplied by the manufacturer) all the aftermarket scan tools are expensive door stops.Surley if the ecu or any control unit is selected for an update,it couldnt have been of a merchantable standard in the first place as updates are made to improve and iron out faults etc.
