    Mike,
    Whats the engine code
    If you disconnect the dizzy plug and with the coil king lead connected to a spark plug, (and ignition on)connect a jump wire to the 0 terminal (signal wire) and "flash" it to earth, you should get a spark if the coil/module are ok.
    Don't keep the jump wire connected to earth only connect it briefly.
    Have you checked for a signal/dwell from the 0 wire when cranking ?
