andy thanks for reply advice car is 1999 fully auto hood. i trie d your advice to the letter but no joy. switch red lt flashes at all times, but motors do not operate. as said all was working fine until i pulled motor disengage cables. what else could i have upset. tried your advice several times.held switch for several minutes,is that long enough. also car has alarm to activate ignition posiiton, you sadi to have in position R ?
