Hi all, when driving at say 30mph speedo jumps up to 60, then settles at 30 for a while then sets off jumping up and down again. Live data when driving shows vehicle speed fluctuating wildly between 5 - 150mph!
Fitted new VSS Cleaned/checked earths behind both kick panels and in engine bay Removed NGK plugs and fitted Bosch (worth a try!) Removed speedo and resoldered suspect joints. None of this had any effect, all other gauges working normally. Am tempted to order a new speedo but what's nagging me is the live data (would this happen if it was just a faulty speedo)
