the rings are intact, not distorted & the airgap looks right, there's no play or noise from the bearings.
i've come across the abs ecu closing the circuit on a bmw before (which was the abs ecu at fault) this is why i checked the fronts with the scope & the base setting looked the same, but no signal coming from the rears at the first connection or the ecu.
