I'm not certain that the test equipment will make any difference to the outcome. I use a standard Tapley deccelerometer for vehicles that can't be tested on rollers. Calibrated as per the DVSA requirements. Vehicle put into bedding mode as per DVSA instruction. It just seems that the bedding mode on Disco 4 models doesn't apply the parking brake as effectively as on earlier Disco 3s.
Bear in mind that DVSA have always specified 20mph (32kph) as the speed at which the parking brake should be tested, not various different speeds.
