Mercedes Benz E320 CDi 2004 - Sensotronic fault, code C249F - Unresolved #

Year of Manufacture *: 2004

I have the above with the "service brake fault" light on, fault code C249F Operating time exceeded.

Has anyone had any issues with these, is there any good will from the dealer or can they be programmed out of the system ?

Your thoughts appreciated please ?
