I believe the convenience bus on that vehicle is a low speed Com line that will not have a bridging resister (and therefore able to work in single wire mode)

Remember that the system works from a voltage differential perspective and therefore don't expect every vehicle to have the same base line voltage across all their networks, it can be anything they want it to be as long as the is a differential for the transmission of the data.
