there are various information about dpf condition and need of regeneration from various sources which can be confusing. the best thing to do is collect your own data from cars coming in to the workshop keep them and study them later. as I have a dpf car a 207 1.6 hdi I have taken live data at various dpf soot load levels car standing and driven and this has helped me understand how the system works especially when something goes wrong. the live data I later try to post is when this car had one of it's glow plugs failed and therefore it couldn't regenerate after I replaced all the glow plugs I recorded the live data and the dpf load soot was showing at 93% some would tell you it should be replaced it's too far blocked still I drove it on the motorway it felt normal and I was able to get it to regenerate and save all the live date as it was driving
