Assuming the O2 sensors are corrctly reporting a lean mixture, check the basic mechanicals.
Timing belt history? - possibly incorrectly fitted recently.
Vacuum leak on the manifold? whats the MAP sensor reading, does a vacuum gauge agree? Smoke test inlet system?
Just my immediate thoughts, can't say I've had anything like this with this engine
