After much searching I give up, while sitting in the back of the car with the rear seat squab out and the pump access panel off we determined it wasn't the tank, the noise/rattle is coming from behind the rear drivers seat, with time and labour costs rising we pulled the plug and told the customer to turn the volume up on the radio it's cheaper
