Hi gents and any ladies present,

Have this Peugeot with a strange rattle from the back end, eliminated suspension, heat-shield etc. We have found that if you "thump" the fuel tank it make a strange noise that continues for 5 seconds after the event! Lowered the tank and there seems to be some kind of a roll over device (I guess) fitted to the purge pipe running up to the front. It's moulded in to the tank and necessitates a tank replacement to change it which is a pretty expensive gamble, so I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has had a similar problem.
