Finally spent a little time on this vehicle. Scoped the +ve / -ve and can lines and all were good, Decided to throw a amps clamp around the +ve feed and monitored the current draw when the fault occured, i noticed excessive current draw when the steering locked! 80+ amps! checked the pipework for blockages and were ok, Customer supplied his own rack and all was well! Thanks for all your replies.
