Customer complaining about flat battery, goes out to check situation car starts perfectly, battery voltage 12.4, no relevant fault codes (I think) 24 hrs later gets call to return to car, which had not moved since my last visit, had to get in using emergency key through the boot, checked battery volts, 6.5 volts, wow quite a drain!! Removed the battery strapped it to my Snap On charger and charged it for 7 hours until it the charge meter read 100%, refitted checked for current drain with all door locked and keys out! left my meter recording and only found a max current drain of .25 Amps. Seems like the customer may have to go to main dealer to solve this unless of course anyone here can tell me different. After battery charge thought the charging voltage was quite high at 14.9 volts, but this was with a fully charged battery reading 13 volts at rest, so many systems on this beast don't have any idea where to go next.
