Intermittent quiet beeping noise from OSR of car when parked up.

I have not witnessed this since, of course, it wouldn't play for me!

The AA man seemed to think it might be related to a poor tailgate latch (It only latches properly if shut "Firmly" ) but I think this is more likely to be a red herring since even when not shut properly I was unable to make the fault occur.

Is the alarm horn located in the OSR wing cavity? Does it have internal rechargeable batteries that fail? Any other thoughts?
