Hi Matt. I try anything possible rather than having ecu's and clusters etc repaired, I Prefer to buy new units or Second hand units if new ones are too expensive, at least with second hand parts your unlikely to get one with exactly the same fault and the cost is usually a lot cheaper than a repair by a company that cannot test the unit fully. There are too many places offering repairs and this type of complaint is far too common. I am not saying that there isn't a place for these companies, but if you want to use them then I think you just have to accept a certain amount of failures like this. As for Incorrect mileage, there are quite a few Mileage correction places about that will legitimately correct the mileage for you. ( only thing is that you then lose most of the £ benefits of using a second hand part. P,S What Vehicle is this Cluster out of that your having problems with at the moment. ??
