But it is stuck fast!
There is no evidence that there is a problem with the bearing (The problem I am attempting to fix is (I suspect) a delaminated brake shoe). No evidence of overheating, no roughness/movement etc
I have tied a hub puller on it and a big hammer and it will not budge!
Anybody come across this before? How did you solve it?
I am now at the stage where I know I am going to have to destroy stuff to get it apart, it is just a matter of how much I will have to destroy!
My impression is that the inner race of the bearing might be undersize and that it was "wound on" using the hub nut.
Unless anybody has a better suggestion my next move is to try tensioning the hub with the puller while using a small Oxy jet to heat the offending bearing race
