There is a lot of useful information here.

I did suggest to my customer that cleaning contacts and a possible software update might be a good place to start.

Removal of the ECU connector would have puzzled me a bit more, so thank you for that information.

If anyone can find the TSB I would be very grateful.

I'll post any resolution reached.
