Year of Manufacture *: 2001
( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: B4204T3
At idle the engine wobbles like a three cylinder Corsa. At speed it smooths out a bit but still vibrates.
I performed a compression test, all in the range of 180-190 psi and confirmed it is running on 4.
I then took it for a drive and when driving it is obvious the engine is out of balance. There is no balance shaft on this engine but it does have an oil filled front pulley. Is it possible the oil is in several cells and one of them has leaked dry? My other thoughts are a possible DMF problem but there are no nasty noises and clutch operation is normal.
I suppose the next thing would be to take the accessory belt and bottom pulley off, what do you guys think?
Shaun.
