Sorry for not getting back sooner, for some reason I got no email alert, must have forgotten to check the box although I thought I did :-).
I mis-understood Volvo, the front pulley is not oil filled, they were talking about the cam pulley with the VVT in it! It certainly seems much more wobbly on the flywheel end. Strangely there are no nasty noises just the wobble which is like an out-of-balance wobble not a power-pulses wobble. Is it possible that the DMF has gone out of centre or out of balance?
Will advise customer accordingly.
As an electrician it will no longer be my problem anyway!
