The journals are all part of a lower crankcase assembly, if you replace the bearings you have to work out what colour code bearings to fit where from code numbers on the crankcases. You don't necessarily have the same bearing at the top half and bottom half of the same bearing either.
On these K series engines you make sure you NEVER rotate the crank without the head being torqued down.
Probably just as well the customer has pulled the plug - it has saved you a massive headache.
