Can't remember which way round it is but can you reset/re-program either the engine ecu or the immobiliser ecu but don't do both at the same time.

You may even need to select from immobiliser ecu engine ecu installed.

Sometimes the Vectra's lost the immobiliser coding for the engine ecu.
