what tool was your BMW specialist using?
I would imagine a specialist would be using dealer level equipment... if so then I would get them to scan it again and do a global scan as well..
Are you sure the control unit is not the problem here......
Has this been in any incidents?
Not sure why your sending control unit to be tested either??
