Got a starting problem with this one, fault code being logged is 12295= Camshaft position sensor(G40) no signal/intermittant.
Garage have fitted a new OE sensor with no change, scoping the hall effect sensor when the engine does start it showed no signal output.
When i removed the new sensor to have a look it had a score mark across the top where it must have been hit by the cam so have asked them to order another unit to try. If i wanted to do a sensor test unplugged from the ecu can someone advise what size resistor i will need on pin 2 for the hall effect to work, its a 5volt system.
