This vehicle is the model as well as having the normal PRND positions is able to be used in a manual or sport mode by moving the selector lever across the gate, for manual changes move lever forward for upward changes and rearwards for down changes.
this it does not do and also in the normal CVT position wont operate as expected on acceleration it just revs up with very little increase in road speed and then when coming to halt revs usually remain as high as 3000rpm,these can only be brought down by moving into M then back into D then the next attempted drive away the same thing again.
there may be one piece of information that i think is relavant when shifting through the gate the R and D selector digits on the displays on the led module adgacent to lever and the one in the instrument pack dont show.
i think it unlikely to be the PRND M/S SWITCH because these are usually made to high standards,i suspect it may be the gearbox interface unit (GIU) or communication between this and the MEMS3 ECM which is used for many of auto commands or both.
has anyone had similar experience with these nb we have the T4 tool if any particular screen info would help as there is loads of data.
