Thanks for the info. I did have one of these a few years ago so I am aware about the adjustments after warm up etc, but that is only for the adjusters/screws that have not been previously covered up (the smaller holes). For example, if I move the one for O2 (2nd from the right) whilst testing a vehicle I am able to watch either the O2 or the Lambda reading move accordingly. The HC (3rd from the right) seems to do the same. The corresponding CO2 adjuster (3rd from the left) doesn't seem to have any effect until after the pump is stopped and the zero button is pushed, but I think by pure guessing it seems to be about right. There is no screw under the grommet marked HC to the far right so I have not counted that one.
What I have done so far is play around with it on vehicles with known emissions (after MOT etc) and I think it is about where I want it although I will continue like this for a few days and see what happens. I did have a trial of the Snap On portable machine but I felt the accuracy left a lot to be desired.
Hope you have a good time in Italy, I was there myself for the Easter break which included a day trip across the border for a drive round the Monaco circuit.
Regards,
Bryan.
