Got this Mercedes in to change auto gearbox oil & filter didn’t think that we would have a problem as we service many Mercedes & we have the dummy Mercedes dip sticks to check the oil level,
Simple I thought but oh no !!!
It has got a drain plug in the sump but it’s very small (unlike like some V.A.G vehicles that you fill up the centre of drain hole) or am I wrong cuz i daren’t remove the drain plug yet!!
It hasn’t got a dip stick tube either so can’t be filled from there.
It hasn’t got a filler/level plug
I have spoken to main dealer they were not much help they just said that they use a special pump to fill it and that I would struggle to do it. (Thanks for nothing mate).
I also have spoken to my transmission specialists and they say they haven’t come across this one either.
So if anyone out there think they can help or suggest a fix it would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance,
