Dont take the turbo off !!!
Undo the 3 bolts holing the turbo to the manifold ease it down slighty. take out old gasket, quick clean with some sandpaper/wet & dry in the gap. Slide in new gasket line up & do up bolts.
Over the years probably done about 15 this way, never had an exhaust blow yet or a come back on one.
Should take less than 3 hours.
