Hi the code you are getting is called the out code and it has to be changed to the 9 digit in code by the dealers system. The code changes every time the ignition is cycled so ignition must be left on while waiting for the in code. I think some codes can be got from chassis no also. You will need to be on very good terms with someone at renault. Or get someone with auto logic or ad100 to do it. I did a ford key today the car sat with the ignition on for an hour an a half while waiting on the official ford tech service to sell me an in code. it is a real pain to use, but at least you can get it legit.
