Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (MNCPPC) owns the land where Prince George's Country Club was located. I understand, although I am not sure, that they traded some land with Woodmoor Country Club. My husband used to work at Woodmoor and he saw some paperwork that read, Prince George's Country Club, trading as Woodmoor Country Club. That was about 20 years ago. When he was a boy living in Kentland, the kids used to go to the pool at the PG Country Club. The pool is now filled in and is the basketball court. Ms. Susan Pearl, of this website, is the historian for the MNCPPC, and she may have some photos of the grand old days, and probably much more information.
