While working at a golf course in PG county, I came across some old photos of a "Prince George's Country Club" in Landover, MD. The photos were dated in the 1950's and showed an elegant golf club.

I conducted some of my own research and found that a private golf course was located in Landover (The clubhouse still stands as a ballroom) and a pro tournamnet was actually held there. I found a photo from the Washington Post that had descriptions of a "pro-am" type tournamnet and the likes of Sam Snead even played there.

Can anyone shed any other light on the club or have/know where there are more photos?
