I am helping an adoptee to find birth mom...we know she was living in Prince Georges Cty in 1940-43. Her name was Gladys Powell. Can you check city directories for any Powell's? Supposedly her mother was deceased and she lived with her dad or possibly alone. She also worked for the telephone company and was in her early 20's. She kept the baby for a few months and then gave him/adopted him out to a family on Dent St. Is that or was that called Boulevard Heights?
