I have checked the obvious sources (land/probate records, etc.) that are easily available to us here at the PGC Historical Society library and find very little about the Parrott/Perrott family. One reference that might be helpful (and which you have doubtless already found) is that in the 1720s Gabriel Parrott was the owner of property known as "Parrott's Thicket" which he had received in 1670 by patent #12:632. (This reference is found in a Deed M:218, 22 June 1727.)
Perhaps more helpful is a reference in Deed F:113 (24 November 1718) between Gabriel Parker of PG County and Henry Hall of Anne Arundel County, which indicates that on 9 February 1700, the grantor, Gabriel Parker, had received from his grandfather, Gabriel Parrott, tracts known as "Parrotts's Thickett" and "Eglington" - that Gabriel Parker was the only surviving male child of George Parker and his wife Susannah Parrott Parker, daughter of the above-cited Gabriel Parrott. These lands had to be equally divided between the male children of George and Susannah Parker, and since Gabriel Parker was their only surviving male child, he received these lands in 1700.
This deed also indicates that Gabriel Parker's wife is Ann Parker. I hope that this is of some help. You will undoubtedly find more information at the Maryland State Archives.
Good luck with your research!
