Re: Is there really a death spell?
There are tons of death spells and curses and so forth. Some are more dangerous, some less. But, it depends on who is doing the cursing. I once saw a curse cast on someone who was under the protection of a real deity, and it immediately boomeranged onto a sibling of the one who uttered the curse. I guess a good time was had by all, on Olympus that day, anyway. The other night on The Mentalist, a character said that a poor person cannot kill a rich one and get away with it. This goes for karma, as well. Besides, why kill someone mean when you could pray for their enlightenment and make them truly miserable? In most advanced magickal systems, protection is boosted at the price of revenge. It is a very godlike thing to allow someone to correct his or her mistakes, which boosts the power of an adept extending mercy and wisdom in that way. Now, if someone continues to threaten you with real harm, there is usually a way to turn that energy into something very dangerous against the sender. That is my favorite way of casting a death spell: let the other guy build the bomb, and then detonate it while it is still on him. Hee hee...
