I often tell people I "dream before sleeping"- meaning, I get the same thing, only in varying degrees of strength and wakefulness. Psychologists say that auditory and visual hallucinations are very normal right before sleep, but it depends on whatever else is floating through your system, your mind, chemicals, etc. Continuing a dream after you begin to wake up is also normal. The fact that he gave you an anti-seizure medication that helps you sleep is also a bit telling. You weren't diagnosed as a mild epileptic? These kinds of hallucinations are also normal with some forms of epilepsy. Nevertheless, sometimes these things can be a symptom of repressed things lurking in your subconscious. Professional counsellors (a Jungian or an open-minded Behaviorist, I suggest) would help you get a grip on the psychological stuff. Or, to tip the ice berg, try Jung's "Dreams". Spiritually, I'd say it means you have the potential for some rocking dreams when you learn more astral projection techniques, lucid dreaming and mind control (as in, controlling your own mind through things like meditation and visualization). Seeing as I am not a doctor, a psychologist or a liscenced spiritual consellor, please take this with a good dose of common sense. I'm just trying to help!
