Yes both of you are correct. But E rec is a building division for the up coming next year and just like my team that's what we have done all year and that is getting ready for next year. No different than what the MLB does with draft picks and minor league. Plus if the ones in E would go up instead of staying in E for 5 years and the D class stay at their level instead of dropping down to E then you wouldn't have so many in the classes. NC is a D and E class state. Wish we did have more teams play in upper classes but that doesn't happen. But like everybody has all year talked smack about the E rec division and I say my peace and if people want to talk in person about it well not hard to find me. I been around this and I am in a building season ( not rebuilding cause I started from scratch.). So if you look at teams records and average runs per game. Then you can tell where a team belongs. Class E and Rec E is no difference in USSSA except the people they have on the teams. Start classification on players like it used to be and you won't have these problems. But its coaches and directors that assume where you belong. Wish all these teams in both classes the best at STATES. But when teams pay the amounts for entry fees then it should have prizes. How you say a team doesn't deserve prizes cause the other classes pay same amount on entry and they get prizes. Its been said all year Rec E is E and E is D.
