Gurinder, thank you for contacting my office. I have received several messages conveying disappointment in being told that residents can no longer use the County Court tennis courts to play ball hockey. I have sent the Commissioner of Parks and Operations and the Commissioner of Corporate Services the many emails I have received and have asked that they investigate the circumstances of the officer attending and consequently the Peel Regional Police.

Councillor Callahan and I had the opportunity to visit this park today and we will be meeting with staff to let them know what our thoughts are and to determine next steps.

Hi Mr Sanderson,

You may have been receiving emails from other people concerned with a incident were we kicked out of a tennis court for playing ball hockey. I wasn't there for the incident as I had already played my game earlier but is as equally concerned for this matter. I know you have busy schedule and have probably heard the whole story many times. We have played at these tennis courts for 20 years now without any problems and I'm hoping we can continue to play there in the future because like previous years I believe we can coexist with any tennis playing at the tenns courts.
