As discussed yesterday, today is the day we should be exerting some pressure on the city.

Matt Hall will be speaking to his contacts at the City to see if there is anything that can be done.

I will be gettting in contact with Vicky Dhillon through my contacts.

Raja Sekhon's Dad will also be speaking with Vicky Dhillon today. (Ricky can you remind him)

Sunny Rai will be calling Bal Gosal's office today.

Sukh Dhillon will be speaking with Vicky Dhillon's cousin today.

If anyone else has any contacts or knows of anyone in the city, region or other political avenue please see what you can do.

Bottom line - short term solution:
We would like to be able to play hockey at the tennis courts from 11am to 6pm on Sundays. We would like a special use permit (which is possible if the Commissioner of Parks/Rec approves). We will only require this for the next 4-5 weekends.

Long Term:
A place to play our kind of hockey should be built here.

Some Speaking Points:
- we have been playing here for 20 years
- we are members of the community
- we cleanup and maintain the facilties
- we have never had complaints before
- 70 brampton residents benefit from this
- tennis is rarely played here
- there is no where else for us to play
- a rink or parking lot will not do
- other sports are accomodated (e.g. kabadi)
- we offer a positive environment and outlet for 70 residents
