I want to start by saying the Lions played amazing this year and were the one team that beat us in the regular season with our full team so I knew they would be a problem in the finals. The final game was very tight and could easily have gone their way. A lot of people told me we would run them over in the final but I knew it wouldn't be easy what so ever. Congrats to the Lions for an excellent season and taking us to the edge.

I want to thank every player on Humberwood for what was a great season. Our group of guys played their hearts out and filled whatever role they needed to give us a shot to win every game. I knew we had a great team and would challenge for the cup from the onset. Every guy on the team came up big at key moments throughout the season. We drafted a lot of guys that were steals and I'm sure won't be going that late next year.

Finally, anyone on Humberwood is free to take the cup whenever they want. It's OUR championship.
