Congratulations to the Hurricanes on their first championship, particularly Habi. Classy guy who made the difference for them on Sunday.

To my Lions teammates...great job this season by the guys that showed up (Ragu, Kal, Bippy, Rickey, Harman, Sunny W, Gurba). We had the lowest draft picks, didn't even own a fourth rounder, and had more no-shows throughout the season than anyone. Not sure that anyone thought we'd make the playoffs, let alone come within a goal of winning it all. You guys showed a lot of heart and worked your asses off all season, never more so than the final game. I really feel that although we had very little left in the tank from the day before and the earlier game, we outplayed an excellent Humberwood team. The ball just didn't bounce our way. Was a pleasure playing with you guys and I'm sorry it didn't end better.

Also, to Jessie and the rest of the sevadars this season, kudos to you on another successful season. The EIHL just keeps getting better and it wouldn't be possible without the select few who make it run for the majority.
