I've always used Filson in the past and they wore like iron, but heavy and hot. It seems like I'm hunting in a lot warmer weather now then in the past (could it be I'm a lot heavier and older than I used to be???)So after 20 years of use I was looking for something lighter and more flexible. I switched to Pyke vest and love it. The hip belt really takes the weight off the shoulders and much easier to get through the thick stuff.
