Do you have younger girl (prefer intact) who might not be a great hunter nor a potential field trial competitor that you believe might be better off in a good hiking and family home? I am primarily a hiker, so hunting and field trial ability are secondary. I have enjoyed owning English Setters for 30 years and have found them to be wonderful hiking and family companions – even a gun-shy one. I had a long-time companion pass away last year, so I only have one Setter at the moment. I would prefer to have two!
