Good to hear from you.
It is an interesting question. Not certain, but it seems like there may be a connection. The angels appear to be implicated in the wrongdoings of the sons of God - maybe as accomplices. Regarding Jude 1:6, “left their habitation”, maybe some angels were meant to stay in the heavens but erred by coming to earth, maybe to assist sons of God (as servants). Speculating here, but will look into it. Certainly an interesting topic.
Margaret
I have been thinking about this off and on for some time: -
Jud 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Have anyone any thoughts about this statement?
Do you think it has any connection to: -
Deu 32:8 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.
Could it in any way be connected to: -
Gen 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.
I thought it would be helpful to have other opinions.
Best Regards Bill
