We seem to be given a little insight into how should be our current lifestyle amongst these earthly things.

Romans 13;14 " Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and take no forethought for the flesh to fulfill it's covetings."

Romans 14;17-19 " For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit;
for the one who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by people.
So then, let us pursue what makes for peace and for building up one another."

Romans 15;7 " Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God."

1 Thess 4;9 " But concerning brotherly love you have no need that we be writing to you;
for you yourselves are God-taught to be loving one another."

1 Thess 4;11,12 " Be ambitious to be quiet and to be attending to your own affairs
and to be be working with your own hands even as we gave charge to you,
that you should walk reputably towards those outsiders being dependent on no-one."

Romans 8;18 " For I reckon that the sufferings of the present age are unworthy to be compared with the glory
about to be revealed to us."

Hebrews 12;11 " But no discipline for the present seems to be of joy but sorrow;
however, afterwards, to them who have thereby been well trained,
it yields peaceful fruit of righteousness."

1 Cor 3;11 " For no one can lay any other foundation than that which is lying which is Jesus Christ."

2 Cor 9;8 " Moreover, God is able to cause every gracious gift to super-abound to you in order that you may be super-abounding to every good work having in everything of every time every kind of sufficiency of your own."
