I have been wondering why we have not done something like this. Unfortunately, I just saw this today so I won't be able to get the orange in the mail until probably Monday, the 16th but better late than never. Might make them think this is going on forever. |
I did write a letter within the last two weeks to Senator Cruz, Senator Cronyn, my Texas Senators, plus my congressman along with Lindsay Graham and a couple of others.
You can be assured they will get another copy of your letter and an additional letter to the sponsors of the bill.
Thanks Guys.... Let us try and get this done they just went back in session I believe.
I would like to participate. I live in the Caribbean and mail can take anywhere from 5 to 10 days to reach a US destination. can you send me a sample of the letter? My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
There is going to be a mailing on September 12th 2019 to senators, representatives and the guy in the ,whitehouse from Thailand vets to bring attention to the need for presumptive AO status for us. Currently in country Vietnam vets, brown water Navy and blue water Navy vets are all covered by this presumptive status, we are not. The letters will state our case and be mailed in orange envelopes. All mailing will be on September 12th so letters arrive at about the same time in Washington-a flood of orange! I encourage all to participate, if more information is needed or a sample letter is needed I will post it on this site.
